2025 Monogramming Trends

What a year!  Monogramming has become more popular than ever in 2025, evolving into a fun and creative way to express identity, culture, brand or occasion.

At a time when so much of retail looks the same, there’s been a strong push by shoppers seeking unique and made-to-order goods. And of course monogramming is (we think!) the best way to add a one-off touch of personality to accessories, clothing, home goods and more.

Based on all your orders this year, we’ve seen a few key trends emerge in monogramming that we’d love to share.

2025 Monogramming Trends

1. We’re seeing monogram designs move beyond simple initials in traditional lettering styles, incorporating more design-led monogramming shape fonts like this one called Art Deco:

2.  Tone-on-tone thread colours are being used to create subtle but textured monograms that can look both vintage, inspired by antique French linens, or modern like this design in Slim Block font:

3. Handwritten names or messages are being embroidered on napkins, pillowcases, dress shirts, lingerie and more to commemorate the very special occasions.  We loved this project in which snippets from love letters were embroidered on napkins for the wedding dinner:

4.  Embroidered motifs are being used instead of, or in addition to, lettering to convey a theme or message.  This is a fun example, in which a house name expressed in imagery embroidered on linen cocktail napkins:

5. Demand for monogramming now goes well beyond our own product line. We will embroider, laser-etch or emboss a monogram on almost anything you bring us, from linen to leather to lace and everything in between. As an example, these beautiful hand-made linen cases are made even more perfect with a bespoke monogram:

6.  Our incredible team will stop at nothing to fulfil the brief, even it it means making the product you need from start to finish. These handmade napkin rings for a “denim and diamonds” party theme are just one recent example:
