The Beaufort Basket features flat leather straps that sit comfortably on the shoulder. They wrap all the way around the basket, leaving a handy space to tuck a sun hat, yoga mat or beach towel.
We designed this palm leaf basket in Marrakech where the base is woven by hand and the leather straps are hand-sewn. It comes in two variants: natural tan straps and navy straps. Due to the handcraft nature, each bag is slightly different to the next and measurements are approximate.
Dimensions: 53cm wide across the top, 33cm basket height, 18cm wide across the base, strap length 74cm from the top of the basket
Materials: 100% palm leaf and goat leather handles.
Care: Wipe the straps clean with a wet cloth and treat with beeswax or other leather conditioner to keep the straps supple. Wipe clean the palm leaf and spray with water before reshaping if necessary after storage.
