Terms and Conditions


1). Placing an Order: Orders without monogramming can be placed directly on our website or by ringing our office on 08001560878 or emailing us on With respect to orders that require monogramming, please see Monogramming section below.

2) Minimum Orders: There is no minimum order value but there are minimum order quantities which vary by product.

3) Payment Terms: We accept payment by bank transfer or credit card (including American Express). All orders must be paid in full before goods can be shipped.

4) Lead Time: All in-stock items will be despatched within 2-4 working days in the case of un-monogrammed items. If monogramming is requested, all items will be delivered within approximately 7-10 days except in seasonal busy periods when lead times are longer due to the volume of orders we receive. Please advise us with your order if you have a specific need-by date so we can be sure to deliver on time.

5) Backorders: If any item is not in stock when your order is placed, the order will be kept open until your stock arrives. An email will be sent to you advising of the expected delivery date, at which point you may cancel the order and request a refund if necessary.


We ship within the UK by either Royal Mail or DHL and globally by DHL only. Delivery is usually within 2 days of shipping.

Any goods damaged in transit or any discrepancies in an order must be notified in writing within 2 days of receipt of goods. We request that you check the condition of the parcel and the number of boxes in the shipment before signing for goods with the courier. Initially London is only able to make a claim for missing or damaged goods if this is stated clearly in writing on the delivery note of the courier company.


We are happy to accept returns of faulty goods only as long as we receive notification within 5 days of delivery. Goods may only be returned with a returns number issued by Initially London, which will be issued upon receipt of notification. Carriage costs for the return of goods are the purchaser’s responsibility.


Our suggested retail mark-up for non-monogrammed goods is a minimum of 2.4 times. Monogrammed goods can be marked up from 2.4 times the monogrammed price.


In order for stockists to maintain a level of exclusivity within a geographical area, we review each trade application to ensure there are no obvious conflicts of interest. Exclusivity will lapse if there is not any order activity within a six month period.


All trade prices are exclusive of monogramming but we can provide quotes for monogramming separately. Please refer to the Monogram Fonts tab to see the available options, pricing for which varies by font style and product size as it is based on stitch count.

We can provide digital mockups of any design on any product for your own approval or for your client’s approval.


The “Initially London” name and related names, logos, products, textile patterns, designs and other intellectual property related to our goods are the property of Initially London only. With your order, you acknowledge the forgoing and agree not to use this intellectual property under your own name.
